Donor Advised Funds

A donor-advised fund (DAF) provides a simple, flexible, and tax-efficient way for you to transfer appreciated assets to support your favorite charitable causes now or over time.  Donor-advised funds can be set up through a community foundation or your financial advisor.  Once established, you can create a grant recommendation from your DAF to support Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King and Kittitas Counties.

Final distribution of contributions remaining in a donor-advised fund is governed by the contract you completed when you created your DAF. Please consider naming Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King and Kittitas Counties as successor of your account. Alternatively, you can name us as the successor for a portion of the account value, leaving the remaining portion for your heirs to distribute to charities of their choice.
