Your GV trip cost includes donations to Habitat for Humanity Guatemala and Habitat for Humanity International; meals; accommodations; transport, excluding airfare; predetermined cultural activities; health, accident, emergency evacuation insurance; and team coordination from HFHI and the host program.

The trip cost does not include airfare, R&R activities, or visa & exit fees (where applicable).

Team members arriving earlier or staying later than the designated trips dates are responsible for their own transport, hotel arrnagements, and payments.

GENERAL ITINERARY

Sept 27-28: Depart from home and travel to Jakarta
Sept 29: Arrive in Jakarta; team dinner
Sept 30: Free day for cultural activities and sight seeing
Oct 1: Travel to Bogor, visit project sites and families; welcome and orientation; Welcome din
Oct 2-5: Build each day, evening free time; team activities
Oct 6: Community farewell; travel back to Jakarta
Oct 7: Depart for home or personal R&R

FUNDRAISING

Team members are encouraged to do some fundraising for the trip, even if they are planning to cover all the costs personally.
Fundraising is a great way to raise awareness about Habitat and the amazing work we do.
More often than not, when friends, family and co-workers hear what you are doing with Habit for Humanity, they will want to support it.
We can provide you with a mobile tool to do peer-to-peer fundraising for your trip.
