Join us for Interfaith Build 2024!

Habitat’s Interfaith Build, initiated over 20 years ago in memory of September 11th, unites faith communities in love and action. Join us in continuing this annual tradition of unity and strength by building with us on September 6, 7, 11, 13, and 14!

Habitat for Humanity honors the role that faith communities play in building a better world. In our mission of building decent homes for all, we work alongside and serve people of all faith backgrounds, and celebrate the role many faiths play in building stronger communities.

  • Volunteer with a few individuals from your faith community or by yourself!
  • Interfaith volunteer days will take place on September 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 13th, & 14th from 8:30am-4pm!
  • To sign up to volunteer and get more information about volunteering with Habitat SKKC, click the button below. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer and all volunteers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult 21 years or older.

Contact Alex Wyatt, at to organize a group, or ask questions. Space is limited.

Speak at Interfaith Build

We would love to have a representative on-site from different faith communities to share for 5-10 minutes each about how their faith calls them to action and service to others.

If you are interested in being a speaker at one of the Interfaith Build dates, please reach out to Jim O’Farrell, Interfaith Chair, at

Provide a Meal

Provide and serve meals on site for volunteers with enough to feed 30 people each day. We ask that food includes vegetarian options.

If you are interested in providing a meal at one of the  Interfaith Build dates, please reach out to Jim O’Farrell, Interfaith Chair, at
