Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King County provides local families the opportunity to help build and purchase their own homes. We work with WSHFC-approved lenders to set up our new homeowners with a mortgage that is affordable and allow you to save money. If you are unable to secure a mortgage for the full price of the house, Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King County can finance the remaining amount not covered by the home mortgage.

The new website walks you through the homeownership application process, displays currently available and soon to be available homes, and has other useful housing resources. Head on over to www.buyhabitat.org to learn more and see if you qualify!

Already own a home and need critical repairs?

Then our Repairs Program might be for you! Our homeowner repairs program works with existing homeowners outside of the Habitat network who need help with critical home repairs to address health and other safety problems. Additionally, Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King County offers what we call “Home Preservation,” which allows homeowners to fix small home maintenance and repair issues.

And if you’re a senior in the Seattle – King County area who is unable to perform home repairs because of physical or mental impairment, we may be able to service your home with our “Aging in Place” program. Aging in Place was created to ensure local seniors can get access to critical home repairs they might not otherwise be able to afford.

The current repairs services areas are SE Seattle, White Center, SE Renton, Federal Way, Glendale, and Bryn Mawr-Skyway. Head on over to www.habitatrepairs.org to learn more about our repair programs and submit an application.
