This June, Pride Build brought together LGBTQ+ community members, allies, and sponsors to raise awareness, take action, and build a stronger, more inclusive future through affordable housing.

Your energy, compassion, and commitment remind us that home is more than just a place to live, it’s a foundation of safety, belonging, and pride. Because of you, more families now have the opportunity to thrive.

What is Pride Build?

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties’ annual Pride Build brings local members of the LGBTQ+ community, organizations, and allies together in action to support Habitat’s programs and LGBTQ+ homeowners.

A history of systemic discrimination barred LGBTQ+ families and individuals from access to homeownership opportunities, and through Pride Build, we look forward to bringing our community together to raise awareness of the need for affordable housing for all, and its power to transform lives for the better.

Pride Build extends a heartfelt invitation to the LGBTQ+ community and allies to come together and make a positive impact in our local neighborhoods. Engaging in a Pride Build project isn’t just an opportunity to gain and apply valuable skills, it’s a chance to build a stronger, more inclusive community.
