Veterans Build

What is Veterans Build?

Habitat for Humanity Seattle-King & Kittitas Counties provides volunteer experiences that bring together veterans, military families and their neighbors. These experiences not only help bridge the gap and ease the transition to civilian life with fulfilling community engagement, but also helps build the connections that are crucial to reaching the veteran community with information and resources.

Join us November 4-14, 2026 for our annual Veterans Build to learn, share, and build together, and find out more about how you can help bring homeownership and affordable repairs to veterans in our community.

How Do I Get Involved?

By joining us during Women Build you help ensure affordable housing continues to be built for hard-working women and families in our community. Volunteer opportunities will be available at select Habitat Stores and Construction Sites located throughout King and Kittitas Counties. Stay tuned in the coming months as registration opens!

Honoring Service Through Action. Thank You, Veterans Build 2025

Last fall, Veterans Build brought people together to honor those who’ve served by helping create safe, stable homes and stronger communities. Because of your support, more veteran households are one step closer to the security and stability they deserve.

Veterans Build isn’t just about construction, it’s about respect, connection, and showing up for veterans in a tangible way. Every wall raised, door installed, and brushstroke of paint was a reminder that when we build together, we all move forward together.
