Every Fall members of diverse faith communities gather at Habitat for Humanity Seattle – King County construction sites to build houses and community. Created in response to the tragic events of 9/11, dozens of Muslim, Jewish, Christian and other faith groups have been coming together each year under the name “Together We Build,” to help local families and overcome cultural divisions.
Last Saturday we had our first day of the Interfaith build at our Pacific, WA construction site. The team got a lot of important work finished doing caulking, working on siding, and installing windows. Thanks so much to Saint Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, Bothell United Methodist Church, and all our other amazing volunteers for your hard work!
