Thank you for your interest in serving as a Table Captain for our annual Beyond the Build Luncheon—our largest fundraiser of the year! We’re grateful for your support and are here to help you every step of the way so you can feel confident, prepared, and have a great experience.
What Does a Table Captain Do?
Commit: Signing up as a table captain is the first step. By making the decision to host, you’re helping bring people together in support of affordable homeownership and a stronger community.
Invite: Each table captain hosts a table of 10 guests—friends, family, colleagues, business partners, and others who care about expanding access to affordable housing in our community.
Stay Connected: We all need a reminder now and then. Habitat SKKC has you covered. Encourage your guests to follow along on social media for event updates, and we’ll send a reminder email ahead of the big day.
Host: Arrive early to explore the Showcase Room and welcome your guests. During the program, sit back, connect, and experience the impact together.
The Next Step: Keep the momentum going—encourage your guests to stay involved by attending a future dedication or groundbreaking, volunteering, or signing up for advocacy alerts.
